Dr. Janhvi Mehta has done her post graduation in Ophthalmology (DNB Ophthalmology) from Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, after which she joined Sankara Netralaya, Chennai for 2 years as Fellow in Retina Surgery & Research, where she worked and trained under the leaders in the field and obtained extensive experience in Medical and surgical retinal disorders. She then joined a long term fellowship program offered by the European Society of Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology where she built her expertise under the guidance of Dr. Ursula Schmidt- Erfurth a stalwart in the field and a world renowned retina surgeon. Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow she specialises in Phacoemulsification cataract surgery, medical and surgical Retina, Retinopathy of prematurity and Uveitis.
