RIA laboratory is well equipped with all computerised systems and technical expertise. It has also been updated and modernised by introducing chemiluminisence technique.

Radioimmunoassay Laboratory

This hospital was the first one to start an RIA laboratory in India in 1977. About 75 very specialised tests are performed in the laboratory which was been updated and modernised by introducing chemiluminisence technique.

Clinical Toxicology Laboratory.

Jaslok was the first hospital to start Clinical Toxicology department in India. It has made great advances and, at the moment, more than 50 drug assays are being performed in it.

At present the laboratory performs 50 drug assays including of:

1. Analgesics, antipyretics and antiflammatory drugs
2. Analeptics, bronchodilators
3. Antiepileptics
4. Antineeoplastics
5. Antibiotics, (amino glycoside)
6. Cardiac agents anti Arrhythmic drugs
7. Cardiac Glycosides
8. Psychoactive agents e.g. tricycle antidepressants
9. Immunosuppresiants
