Psychotherapy Department was established in the hospital in 1993. It provides in-depth psychotherapy, counseling services and psychological testing.

For Children And Teenagers
Counseling to children having behavioral problems such as eating disorders, thumb sucking, bedwetting, nail biting, stealing, lying, withdrawn behavior etc.
Guidance and counseling to parents with children having learning difficulties and attention-deficit disorders with hyperactivity (ADHD).
Counseling for teenager-parent conflict situations and helping teenagers build a positive value-based philosophy of life.
For Adults
Individual psychotherapy sessions to adults with personal problems related to fear, stress and anxiety at their work-place or dealing with interpersonal conflicts in their home situation
Childhood traumas regarding physical, emotional and sexual abuse are also addressed and resolved within in-depth psychotherapy sessions.
Psychosomatic problems such as headaches, stomach-aches, nausea and vomiting, pseudo seizures and others in children and adults are also dealt with in psychotherapeutic sessions.
Psychological Testing
Intelligence quotient (IQ) testing and personality testing for children and adults.
Family Therapy
Family therapy sessions are undertaken to help the family as a whole and help the‘problem’ child/adult resolve problems within the context of the family to live as a harmonious unit.
Additional Services
Counseling to children and adults suffering from burns and debilitating illnesses such
as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, strokes and kidney disorders.
