The clinic is conducted on Tuesdays
between 9.00 and 10.00 a.m. and on Fridays between
2.00 and 3.00 p.m.

For pregnant mothers: The mothers
are educated and motivated to have a successful
breastfeeding experience. All doubts and myths related
to the subject are removed. The husband and other
relatives are encouraged to come along with the
mother.
A free booklet, in ‘frequently asked questions
and answers’ form is provided.
- For breastfeeding mothers:
- Removing all doubts and difficulties in helping
mothers to breastfeed. (The booklet referred to above
is handed out.)
- Providing guidance about drugs which can be safely
taken by a breastfeeding mother.
- Helping working women to successfully breastfeed
- Teaching mothers to express and store breastmilk.
- Breastfeeding a premature child.
- Guiding a sick mother about breastfeeding her child.
- Preventing and treating sore nipples.
- Supporting a mother who fears that she was not
producing enough breastmilk.
