The Infectious diseases clinic & department has
been set up in this hospital to work on infectious
diseases programme (HIV/AIDS/Liver diseases &
HepB/HepC/Tuberculosis & pulmonary Infection).
The department also possesses technical capabilities
for international collaboration in-patients care,
development of local treatment guidelines and clinical
health research.

- Appropriate referral for follow up cases
- Protocol based treatment & hospitalization

- Counseling & education on safe sex practices,
perinatal transmission in pregnant woman, post exposure
prophylaxsis, vaccination. (as and when required in
detail)
Inpatient services to HIV infected patients requiring
hospitalization, critical care services,
major and minor operation including bronchoscopy, endoscopy,
coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) and liver transplant.
These services are provided in any class without any
discrimination and additional charges.
Facility for investigations relevant to above mentioned
illness are available full fledged namely, haematology
, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, pathology,
molecular medicine &Biology and are fully equipped
with modern technology. Radiological imaging, computed
scanning, MRI, Sonograhy facilities etc also available.
These facilities are manned by expertise in the respective
fields. Hence it is state of art management of ID Clinic
patients under one roof of Jaslok Hospital.
