She is Dr. Asha Ojha Graduated and Post Graduated from Mumbai University. Further qualified in Hospital administration and Management with Six Sigma Green belt,  NHCA Singapore. She underwent Advanced training for HLA and transplant Immunology from Indraprasth Apollo Hospital, New Delhi .

Dr. Asha Ojha has 13yrs of experience in managing the blood bank in reputed hospitals and stand alone blood banks. She has been instrumental in the day-to –day operations , trained in Hematopoietic stem cell collections both allo and autologous ,various other therapeutic procedures by Apheresis from KEM, achieving high quality standards and accreditation processes, upgrading and managing equipment’s ,automation ,training of healthcare personnel’s on best practices in transfusion safety and management ,Quality assurance programmes  and standard operating procedures. She has initiated many quality and patient blood management strategies and procedures in Jaslok blood centre. Recognized as Certified Patient blood management (PBM) Ambassador  through Werfen’s Academy since two years.

In addition to her clinical duties ensure that blood banks & transfusion services comply with regulatory standards set by organizations such as AABB, DGHS ,FDA ,CDSCO & NABH. Actively involved in research & improvement initiatives at enhancing transfusion practices & patient safety. By staying updated with the latest advancement & guidelines in the field ,contribute significance to the overall efficacy & safety of  Transfusion Medicine
