Dr Ashwin Patil is a highly experienced Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician with over 10 years of clinical expertise. He holds a DNB in Nephrology, MD in Medicine, and MBBS, and has extensive experience in managing complex kidney disorders, dialysis therapies, and renal transplantation. Dr Patil has been involved in nearly 400 renal transplants, including ABO-incompatible, cadaveric, and high-risk immunological cases.

He is proficient in advanced nephrology procedures, actively involved in teaching and training nephrology residents and dialysis staff, and has contributed widely to academic research with publications and book chapters. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the dialysis department at Jaslok Hospital as part of Project Victory, earning a Letter of Appreciation from the BMC Commissioner. Dr Patil is also committed to community service through regular kidney health awareness programs and is an active member of leading national nephrology and transplant societies.
