Introduction:

Dr. G. N. Mansukhani graduated from Calcutta Medical School and then proceeded to U.K. to do her basic and advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She took her Membership from the Royal College of Obst./Gynae (London) and stayed on to get further experience in her field. She is trained in Laparoscopy and complicated maternity cases in several hospitals in London.

Dr. Mansukhani acquired training in ultrasound scat at the University College Hospital in London and was responsible for the ultrasound centre in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Hillingdon Hospital, London which was 800 bedded hospital. She then returned to India and joined the Jaslok Hospital and has been here for almost 4 decades and started the ultrasound department at this hospital and has been dealing with high risk pregnancies since then. She keeps herself abreast of advanced technology by going to international workshops regularly. 

Dr. Mansukhani has also been taking lectures for medical students who are proceeding for post graduate studies both locally as well as internationally. She also takes lectures or medical general practitioners. The Department has acquired a new maternity ward and labour room and she is overseeing the efficient functioning of this.
