The Jaslok Hospital has started a
clinic especially for patients with diseases of muscle.
It runs in Out-patient Department (OPD) on every
Wednesday at 3.30 pm and patients are seen by appointment
by way attending Consultants.
Routine Electro Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology,
Histo-Chemistry and Electron Microscopy etc. are available.
We also have full facilities to do Immunohistochemistry
and Genetic studies on Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy
at the moment. However we also plan to add further
Genetic studies on other types muscular dystrophies.
