Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a medical treatment in which a patient is enclosed in a chamber in which 100% oxygen is delivered under pressure. This treatment leads to increased tissue levels of oxygen, increases the growth of new blood vessels, and also destroys bacteria.

It is of great benefit in a number of conditions including;

• Diabetic wounds and ulcers
• Non healing varicose ulcers
• Impending gangrene
• Non healing amputation stumps and surgical wounds
  Additionally, it is also found to be useful in Neurological stroke, Autism and Cerebral palsy.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is essentially an outpatient treatment, with each session lasting for about one hour. Between 5 to 15 sessions are required for treatment.
