Facilities & Services

Outpatient department:
Readily available appointments for the outpatient services all 6 days of working week, run by 4 oncologists daily.





Chemotherapy day care:
3 bedded centre at the 13th floor of the hospital, run by a fully trained staff comprised of 6 chemotherapy sisters under supervision of oncologist. It is utilized for chemotherapy administrastion on the day care basis, Intrathecal chemotherapy administration, diagnostic and therapuetic procedures like pleural, ascitic tapping etc. and catheter care clinic.

3 beds are available for surgical daycare.

Radiotherapy:
We have an in-house radiotherapy department and is utilized in a team approach fashion wherever required.

Oncosurgery:
There is an excellent team of oncosurgeons who work with us as a team whenever required.


Stem cell pheresis and harvesting:
Supported by Blood bank of jaslok hospital stem cell pheresis, harvesting and cryopresevation is performed by the oncologists for the purposes of stem cell transplant.



Bone marrow transplant unit:
3 separate rooms with separate nurse devoted to each patient round the clock, maintaining srict isolation and antiseptic precautions.

Catheter care clinic:
Hickman catheter and hickman port care being run and managed by specially trained nursing staff and chemotherapy sisters, supervised by medical oncologists.

Palliative care clinic:
Terminal patients requiring palliative care in a multidisciplinary fashion is achieved under one roof as well as chemotherapy counsellors for the overall guidance for their care.


Special facilities

Chemotherapy: intraperitoneal, intra-arterial, pleurodesis, chemo embolisation.

Target chemotherapy: The newer molecules currently being applied imatinib for CML, Rituximab for CD20 + lymphomas, Geftinib for lung cancer and few other indications, Herceptin for breast cancer, Bevacuzimab and cetuximab in colorectal cancers, Valcade for multiple myeloma.

Radionuclear therapy: Yittrium for hepatocellular carcinoma.
